CR 455 Extension PD&E Study

From Schofield Road to Hartwood Marsh Road

CR 455 EXTENSION PD&E STUDY BEGINS

In March 2018, Lake County began the CR 455 Extension Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study which focuses on a proposed extension to CR 455 from Schofield Road to Hartwood Marsh Road, in the southeastern portion of Lake County. This Study area is located partially within the City of Clermont, but the anticipated corridor will be contained in unincorporated Lake County and is approximately 4.7 miles in length.

The purpose of this Study is to create system continuity in the area, to provide a regional link between areas of the county, and to provide additional multimodal options that support economic development goals. As alternatives are identified and evaluated, the Study team will consider this corridor's setting, the area's needs, and public input. The public is invited to share their ideas and concerns throughout the Study and may do so on the Share Your Thoughts page. It is anticipated that this Study will be completed in the fall of 2019.
